This past Christmas I gave my two brothers, who are also riders, Road ID gift certificates.

In early August, I was running on Princeton Avenue, became dizzy, sat on a curb and apparently collapsed when I tried to get up.

This year, I was participating in the Nike Human Race in Chicago, Illinois.  Shortly after passing the five mile mark of this 10k race, I collapsed & passed out.

Everything was going great until day 4 of Cycle Oregon last year...when I blew a tire on a 10% downhill grade.

It was supposed to be a normal, easy one hour training ride.  It turned into a nightmare.

As a First Responder for almost 14 years (and also an avid cyclist), I can't emphasize enough the importance of Road ID.

As a runner, I knew about Road ID, and had intended to get one for myself. Unfortunately, I never got around to it, and now I wish I had.

During Daytona Beach's annual Easter Run, I became overheated, dizzy, and passed out.  A beachgoer saw me stumble and caught me before I hit the ground.

I have given my wife some peace of mind since I started wearing my Road ID.  About a month ago, we were on vacation in Florida.

I was riding my TT (Time Trial) bike while wearing my Road ID on the local park roads.  I was going about 25-30 mph when I was struck by a line-drive shot off a golf tee and knocked off of my bike!

I was totally unconscious from a bike crash.  My Road ID enabled the paramedics to call my wife from the accident scene.  As a result, my wife was able to get to the hospital even before I got ther...

I bought my Road ID over year ago and have worn it on every ride...except the one time when I really needed it.
