I learned the importance of wearing ID!

In early August, I was running on Princeton Avenue, became dizzy, sat on a curb and apparently collapsed when I tried to get up.
In early August, I was running on Princeton Avenue, became dizzy, sat on a curb and apparently collapsed when I tried to get up.  My next memory is seeing the faces of the crew from Alert Ambulance trying to awaken me.  I will always be grateful to the woman that took my safety into her hands.  She saw me fall, called 911 and stayed with me until help arrived.  She is an example of the kindness of strangers.

I would like to stress how important it is to wear identification when on the road exercising.  Only four days before my accident, I ordered a Road ID.  I wish I had ordered it sooner...as it would have helped during this incident.

We are a society of runners, walkers, cyclists, using our town roads to work out.  I learned the importance of wearing ID.  I hope my experience will help others, who are out there doing what they love to do, to realize just how imperative it can be to have ID with you in the event of an accident.
