I am replacing 2 straps that I have had for at least 20 years that just now finally wore out. I get 2 new pair of shoes every 2 years and put 1,000 miles each on them. I switch my road ID shoe identifications and I finally had to replace the straps. I have had new ID’s as the data changed, but always kept the straps.
This is my second ID and love it as much as the first one. I would love if you start making tags for the Appel Watch as well. I would have made a few of those as well
Easy to attach to the shoe and ensures I always have my ID with me when I run.
We originally bought the Shoe ID for our three year old son who has Autism, in order for him to have while at Head Start in case they ever take a trip. On the very first day he pulled off the Shoe ID and lost the strap. We bought additional straps, and my wife ended up sewing the strap shut on his shoes. Now he cannot take it off and it stays in place. And we do not have to worry going forward. Very thankful for something like this no matter how small that may seem.
I have a shoe strap on all pairs of sneakers, put em on and forget about it. Puts my family at ease. It's come in handy during a hypoglycemic episode providing EMT's with appropriate information to treat me immediately.
