I have given my wife some peace of mind since I started wearing my Road ID. About a month ago, we were on vacation in Florida. I went out for a bike ride and was hit hard by a car. There I was, out and incoherent. I couldn't state my name or give an emergency contact to the paramedics. It made me realize, later, how important ID can be in the event of an accident.
I am very grateful that it didn’t turn out worse than it did. I am happy to say that after a few weeks recovery and some bike repair, I am back on the roads again.
My RoadID will always be a part of my riding gear, along with my helmet, gloves, glasses and dressing routine.
