I want to thank you personally for such an amazing product. I have been using Road ID since 2002, and I always used to ask myself why I wore an ID when nothing had happened. Well, yesterday, things changed. I left home at 5:30 am for an 80 mile bike ride, and the last thing I remember is passing a mile marker. The nextthing I know I am in an ambulance. I then passed out again and woke up in the ER with a doctor asking me if I can hear her.The emergency personnel later told me that I had an accident and that someone had called 911 when they found me. They used my Road ID to identify me, call my wife, and get me the help I needed.
Since the accident, I am doing well, but I am still suffering the aftermath of a severe concussion, and I cannot remember much of what happened. I am just lucky that I had my Road ID on my wrist. I cannot wait to get back into training as my next race is in 4 weeks, but I can assure you that I will be wearing a good helmet, and I will never question whether or not I should wear my Road ID.
