The First Responders immediately knew how to help

My son, Eric, is a Type 1 Diabetic. As the mother of an active diabetic, I am ALWAYS concerned. When a diabetic is on a low, the person can appear as if he/she is drunk. It can easily lead to a dangerous situation.

About a month ago, Eric was commuting home on his bike, and as you likely know, it has been a bitter, cold winter. The combination of cold weather and the end of a 12 hour shift led to Eric being found, passed out, a mile from his home in a diabetic low. In the bitter cold, it could have been potentially fatal. Fortunately, someone found him and called the paramedics. Eric was SAVED by his Road ID that alerted the paramedics that he is a Type 1 Diabetic. The First Responders immediately knew how to help him.

Thank you. I am eternally grateful for Road ID.
