Paramedics were able to contact my wife and father

My name is Robert, and I am writing from a hospital bed in Austin, TX. I am a Road ID user and I am writing to tell you my Road ID story. Eight days ago, I was riding my bike to the "Thursday Night Worlds" crit in Austin. On the way to the race, I was t-boned by a truck, who then fled the scene. Thanks to my Road ID.

Thanks to my Road ID, theparamedics were able to contact my wife and my father, who is also a physician. I am recovering from six broken ribs, a collapsed lung, ruptured spleen, dislocated shoulder, road rash, cracked skull, and I am now receiving blood transfusions due to a low hemoglobin count. I have been racing bikes for over 20 years.

Thanks, again!
