Two weeks ago, I was on a ride to a friend's house for dinner. Five miles into the ride, something happened. Due to a concussion from hitting my head on the road, I do not remember anything from the accident. The police officer said I told him that a car pulled out in front of me, but it apparently never stopped. I kind ofremember someone taking off my Road ID and saying they had called my wife. She knew within minutes of the accident what had happened and was on her way to the hospital. With the concussion, four cracked ribs, and a bad hematoma on my right hip, it might be a while before I’m back on my back, but it will happen.
