My Road ID is as important as my helmet!

While my wife and I were out for a ride, I was struck by a hit-and-run driver. Though I had multiple injuries, thank God that none of them were life-threatening. The clavicle and scapula in my left shoulder were fractured, I had five fractured ribs and a punctured lung, and my left tibia and fibula were both fractured.
The worst injury was to my knee, which was the point of contact. I had twenty-six fractures in the plateau region and the 'knuckle' on the side of my knee was sheared off completely. Though I was unconscious most of the time, I was keenly aware of my wife’s presence at the two hospitals.

As I lay in hospital, it occurred to me that I usually don't have any ID on me when I ride - I leave my wallet at home. How would anyone know who to contact or how to contact them if something like this had happened while I was riding solo - which is most of my riding?

After two surgeries, three months of recuperation and two months of physical therapy I was back in the saddle again. A couple of months after that, a friend, who is an avid rider, told me about your product. I looked into it that same evening and soon after, I purchased an Ankle ID. Since purchasing your product, I never ride without it. It is just as important a piece of equipment to me as my helmet.

Thank you for filling such a need. God bless!
