The Shoe ID attaches to any pair of shoes with a small velcro strap. Simply slip the bottom strap behind the two or three bottom laces (or bottom Velcro strap) of your shoe. When you receive your new ROAD iD, simply link it to a profile in your iD PROFILE account. Yep, it's that easy.
How will first responders access my iD PROFILE?
In a snap. They will use the Serial and PIN numbers on the back of your ID along with the phone number or website engraved on your ROAD iD faceplate.
How secure is my iD PROFILE?
Fort Knox secure. We treat your security and privacy seriously. We use the latest Secure Site technology and adhere to a strict Privacy Policy. We refuse to share your personal information with any unauthorized entity.
Why do I get a unique/new Serial and PIN on every ID?
For security reasons. Let's say you lose a ROAD iD. You’ll report that specific iD as lost so that your profile can no longer be accessed with its Serial and PIN. If all your ROAD iDs had the same Serial and PIN, they'd all be as useless as the one that was lost.
FAQ
Of course! We even offer a "real" guarantee - you know, like companies used to offer. If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, you can return it for a full refund or exchange. Additionally, our stainless steel ID carries a lifetime guarantee. That's right, if you are tough enough to wear out our stainless steel, laser engraved ROAD iD, we will replace it at no charge. We challenge you to destroy them (through natural wear - gunshots and hand grenades don't count).
NOTE: Our lifetime guarantee applies to the stainless steel ID plate only. The bands and straps that they are attached to are not covered for life. We do, however, offer low-cost replacement bands and straps for all of our IDs.
