I just suffered my first (and hopefully last) major bike accident after 3+ years of serious riding. The details of the crash don’t matter, but what does is that I was praised by the ER people for wearing my Road ID. Because of my ID, the First Responders were able to access my medical information and doctor’s name.I don't remember much after the accident, but the one memory that sticks out is an EMT saying, "You're wearing your Road ID! Good girl!"
I was released shortly thereafter, but I still wanted to say thanks. I'm alive and well, and that's what matters. I'm a customer for life and I’m already convincing others to get a Road ID.
