I need to send a sincere thank you for your Android App.
While riding my bicycle, I was hit by a pickup truck making an illegal turn at a roundabout. I was less than a mile from home, but didn't have the whereabouts to call my wife to let her know what was going on.
Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle stopped to help; he actually called 911 and waited for them to arrive. In the meantime, my phone sent another email alert to my wife, letting her know exactly where I was. She tried to call me but I was unable to answer as I was on my back with my phone behind me. When I was able to call her back, she was getting herself ready to come and find out what had happened. Long story short: road rash and two cracked ribs.
I am in the process of needing to get a phone upgrade and I was contemplating changing to the Windows platform, but I have definitely changed my mind. I am going to be on any platform which supports the Road ID App.
Thank you for being there. I hope that I never need it again, but will live in the comfort of knowing that it is there.
