A few months ago, I had a bad accident on my bike. My helmet-covered head hit the payment so hard that it cracked my helmet. I don't remember much between going down and then hearing someone ask me if I was okay. I was not able to respond at first...when the paramedics arrived, they asked me for the usual information. I just pointed to my Road ID on my wrist.
The paramedic, also a cyclist, commented that Road ID is a great tool to have and that he also wears one.
