ROAD iD saved my life!!! In 2016, I was hit by a truck while riding my bicycle to work, as I done for over 12 years. When the first responder arrived, which was a police office, he saw my yellow ROAD iD bracelet with all the information about myself. He conveyed the info to dispatch. He also had a number where he could contact my wife.
At the hospital, the officer told my wife that having my bracelet was tremendous for him, and he wanted to know where I bought it. He thought it was a very great idea for cyclist and runners.
As for me, I’ve suffered brain trauma, crushed pelvis, broken left shoulder, and severe left leg trauma. I am still recovering as I have a long road to recovery.
I never cycle without my ROAD iD.
