My Uncle Was a John Doe

by ROAD iD Staff May 18, 2021

My Uncle Brooke was severely hurt in a cycling accident in City Creek Canyon, UT.  He was thrown from his bike and broke two vertebrae in his neck, severely bruising his spinal cord and stopping his heart.  A bystander kept him alive by administering CPR until the ambulance arrived.

Brooke, an award-winning British literature professor, was not carrying any identification at the time of his accident.
He was brought to the hospital as a "John Doe" and was not identified for almost 24 hours.

Being a very active individual myself – one who understands the risks involved with being active – I never want the same sequence of events to happen to me or my loved ones. I consider Road ID to be one of the best products ever.  I will never go out running or riding without it.

I'm telling everyone that will listen to go to RoadID.com and check it out.  Road ID is a great product that could save my life someday.
