I was in a horrific accident recently while participating in a cycling race. My injuries were extensive: a concussion, broken nose, broken orbital bone, lost my top left incisor, spiral compound fracture of my humorous, massive road rash on my face, a ton of stitches on my face and inside my mouth, and broke my back in two places.Myfriend, who I was riding with, called 911. When the ambulance arrived, the paramedics were able to use my Shoe ID to alert the hospital staff of my identity and other important details.
I have a long way back but am vowing to ride a bike in a just a few months! I am very fortunate and am grateful that I will recover. Thanks again for the Shoe ID, I am glad that I have it!
