My heart rate was over 200 beats per minute...

I had a heart episode recently and my Road ID was there to help. I took an early lunch to get in a quick swim and it happened about 15 minutes into my set, my heart starting racing at a very high level. I tried lowering my HR with controlled breathing and relaxing my body but nothing worked.
I had a heart episode recently and my Road ID was there to help. I took an early lunch to get in a quick swim and it happened about 15 minutes into my set, my heart starting racing at a very high level. I tried lowering my HR with controlled breathing and relaxing my body but nothing worked. After 15 minutes with a HR over 210, I called 911. When the paramedics arrived, they quickly found that I was pale, sweating and disoriented. The paramedic on scene found the Road ID on my wrist and was able to identify my personal and medical information. After the dust settled, I was told that I have Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT): my heart’s electrical circuitry is a little haywire but it’s not life threatening.

I've worn my Road ID for the past two years every time I train for a running event or triathlon. The feeling I had when my Road ID spoke for me when I needed help is overwhelmingly grateful. Thank you Road ID for making this product!!!
