I was awakened by one of my cats banging on my bedroom door. When I opened it, I was hit with heat and thick smoke. Shortly after, I was rescued from my bedroom window. The firemen got all three of my cats out, though one did pass away due to smoke inhalation.My thanks to Road ID. In all the worry, I could not remember family phone numbers and because I had listed families numbers listed on my ID, I was able to touch base with my loved ones that night. Paramedics and firefighters thought that Road ID is a terrific idea and several showed interest in getting them for their family.
