It's more than just a cool bracelet

While I'd much prefer to just wear my Wrist ID everyday because it is a cool bracelet, I unfortunately had to use my Road ID.
While I'd much prefer to just wear my Wrist ID everyday because it is a cool bracelet, I unfortunately had to use my Road ID.  Long story short, I was riding my bike to work when I was hit by car. The driver, headed in the opposite direction, cut across two lanes of traffic to make a left turn. I didn't see him coming and he cut me off, causing me to slam into him.  I lay there on the pavement, dazed and trying to figure out what just happened.  Thankfully, the responding officer got my name and my wife's cell number from my Road ID.

Everything turned out okay. I had a few broken ribs and my bike was wrecked, but I'm back to riding now.  In fact, I put in about 9,000 miles last year... with my Road ID on my wrist for every single one of them.  I don't know when (or if) I might need it again. Hopefully I NEVER do, but I always wear it just in case.
