I have a disorder that periodically causes me to pass out. As a precaution, when I am out with others, I bring their attention to my Road ID in case anything should happen. I was at church recently when I fainted. Paramedics arrived quickly, and a friend directed them to my ID.My Road ID gave the paramedics access my EmergencyResponse Profile, which allowed them to identify my existing medical conditions and provide the appropriate treatment on the spot.
