Recently, I was riding my bike to a park where I ride almost everyday when a car pulled out right in front of me. I attempted to avoid hitting the car, but it made an immediate right turn into me. I hit the car going about 20mph. My helmeted head hit the front edge of the driver's door, and I flipped over the hood, landing on the other side.I knew instantly that my back was broken. When the police and emergency team arrived, I showed them my Road ID, which contains my daughter's and my wife's phone numbers. If it hadn't been for my ID, I don't know how we would have contacted them to let them know that I was in an emergency room 20 miles away.Thanks, again!
