My wife, who is an Alzheimer's patient, wandered off for six hours. Police were searching, her picture was on local TV with helicopters circling. After six hours, a security guard at a mall watched her walking in the parking lot appearing lost. He approached her, saw the Road ID and called me. The police were there in minutes.
