The nurses and doctors loved my Road ID

My name is Robert of Plymouth, Massachusetts, and I want to say thanks to Road ID.

I just got home from the hospital, where doctors repaired my broken back and performed a total left hip replacement. The injuries were incurred during my last bike ride through Carver, MA.There I was, cruising along about 25 MPH, when the next thing I can remember is the ambulance doors closing. I came to find out that I was hit from behind by an automobile traveling over 45 MPH. The ambulance attendants found my Road ID and used it to access all my past medical information and they were able to contact my wife while I was still at the scene.

At the hospital, nurses and doctors said that my road ID was the best thing they'd ever seen. I wear my road ID faithfully, and the one time needed it, it proved to be invaluable. I don't know when I will ride again as my bike is a total loss and I have a long recovery ahead of me, but when that day comes, I'll definitely be wearing my road ID.
