My Wife Beat the Ambulance to the ER

On Labor Day weekend in 2011, I was out riding with a small group of people, most of which I only know from being part of the same triathlon club. Not long into the ride, for unknown reasons, I got on the front brake too hard, throwing myself over the handle bars. I was knocked out cold, suffering a concussion and a partially collapsed lung from the accident.

The three strangers I was with used my ROAD iD to call my wife and my parents, who live four hours away on the other side of the state. My wife ended up beating the ambulance to the ER, and my parents were able to make it to the hospital hours later.

I cannot thank you enough. I wear my Stretch ID constantly, and I don't even realize I am wearing it most of the time! Thank you for making such a great product.
