When Medics Arrived, My Info Was on My Wrist

Before seeing your product advertised in a magazine, I was training without any identification at all. I thought it was a great idea and a 'must have' for me. I purchased the Wrist ID just before my last triathlon of the season. Little did I know, it would actually be put to use. Thankfully, I wore my Road iD during the event. As I rounded a corner on the bike course at 22 mph I became disoriented, hit a large chunk of concrete in the road and was thrown from my bike. I hit the adjacent sidewalk with my right shoulder and couldn't move. I lay on the ground in agony as the police arrived to help me. The officer called for paramedics as he could tell my shoulder was separated.

When the medics arrived, all my vital information was right there for them on my wrist. I was in unbearable pain, and in no condition to provide this information to them myself. I ended up going for treatment at the hospital, and upon arrival they used my Road iD again. The hospital staff was really impressed with my Wrist ID- I got a lot of comments on it.I won't train or compete now without my Road iD...and they have become quite popular in our family. What a great product!
