My family was notified because of her Road ID

A few months ago, I was in a roll-over car accident with my 20 month old daughter in the back seat. I was 6 months pregnant at the time. The way the accident happened, I wound up with my head pinned under the truck and my neck was broken.
A few months ago, I was in a roll-over car accident with my 20 month old daughter in the back seat. I was 6 months pregnant at the time. The way the accident happened, I wound up with my head pinned under the truck and my neck was broken.

I had originally purchased a Road ID for when I went running, but after my daughter was born, I purchased her a Road ID to wear on her ankle when we went to public places like the zoo, or on long trips. That morning, she was the one who remembered and brought it to me to put on her.

I am told I was conscious throughout the extraction, but I don't have any recollection. The first passer-by that stopped to help pulled my daughter from the truck. She was completely uninjured, but just to be safe, the paramedics took her to look over. They found her Road ID and were able to start making calls to my family. My tiny daughter was taken to a hospital two hours away
all by herself as I was flown to the nearest trauma hospital. My family was able to be notified of our location and condition right away because of her
Road ID.

We are so grateful. I'm online right now purchasing a Road ID for my 4 month old son, who was miraculously born perfect.

Keep up the good work!
