#TeamROADiD Ashley Dailey

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?

Completing my first half marathon! Once I crossed that finish line I knew I was capable of pushing myself, doing hard things, and accomplishing crazy dreams.

Who inspires you?

My dad. He hikes, climbs mountains, runs, owns a Russian bear dog, basically runs a whole trucking business, and is just an all around badass. He’s super cool and has taught me basically everything I know.

What goals are you chasing this year?

I’m looking forward to running my first ever trail race with my dad in Colorado this April! Well also be doing a 5k and half marathon together! I think is so awesome that we can do these things together!

Why do you wear ROAD iD?

Peace of mind. Knowing that my husband would be contacted right away if anything were to ever happen to me is absolutely invaluable. His contact info along with my name, birth year, and blood type is right there on my wrist. It’s a good feeling knowing that info would be readily available if need be.

What’s your #lastline?

“Pain only hurts”. It’s a quote from Scott Jurek’s book Eat and Run. It really resonated with me when I first read the book and it still does to this day. Especially when pushing through hard workouts or even just bad days.
