Your ID could use some fresh new duds. This is the same trim-to-size, latex-free silicone band sold with our 13mm Silicone Clasp ID. The stainless clasp is sold separately, if you don’t already have one.
The replacement band is thinner than the original causing the ID to slide out of place.
Unnecessary and difficult
Hello Richard, Thank you for the feedback. I am sorry for the trouble. We do have several bands styles that do not require a clasp and a no hassle exchange policy. A member of our team will follow up with additional details.
Once I sized the band to my wrist and clamped the ends of the band to the buckle, it was difficult to slide the band over my hand. This is cumbersome and not a good design. Unfortunately I will not be wearing this band. The band with the pin and holes works much better by comparison.
Hello Gilbert, I apologize for the trouble experienced with your new ROAD iD. I have shared your feedback with our team for further review. A member of our team will follow up with a solution for you.
I can understand why someone would lime a watch-style clasp. But, I find that the extra length of metal on the underside of the clasp makes the band lie not as flush to my wrist. It is also bulkier, not as smooth on top nor as light as the old clasp. The differences aren't huge by any means, but I prefer the old clasp: it's simpler, allows the band to lie better. I would ditch the new clasp for the old one, should they bring it back. Please bring the old clasp back!
Please bring back simple velco closures and ankle bands.
