To celebrate the Solstice, Nicole is embarking on a quintessential Hawaiian beach adventure. She'llbe spending the Solstice on the west side of Oʻahu for an ocean adventure on Pokaʻi Bay looking for dolphins, spotting sea turtles, and surfing. Follow along here.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Aloha! I’m Nicole - a business professional by day, writer by night, and adventure junkie by weekend. A wandering nomad since birth, I now am blessed to call Honolulu, HI, home.
When I am not working I enjoy the adventure life - standup paddleboard (SUP) surfing, trying new adrenaline-fueled sports, exploring the island by trail running or hiking, and planning adventures like alligator wrestling occupy most of my free time.
I used to think I had to choose - a fulfilling career or fun adventures - in order to be happy. But once I discovered how to balance both, I became excited by my life. My mission now is to inspire other people to get out there and discover their own outdoor adventures. Why? Because I believe that ordinary people can can still do extraordinary things and ultimately impact their little corner of the world for the better. That’s my goal.
Why do you wear ROAD iD?
I wear it for peace of mind in case I get hurt on any of my adventures and need medical help. To make it easy, I wear my ROAD iD 24/7 that way it is always on whether I am running, hiking, SUP surfing, or just staying close to home.
