ROAD iD is a dynamic eCommerce company laser focused on our "Why" - to save lives, provide peace of mind, and fuel adventure. As part of our growth, we’re seeking a talented TikTok creator that loves to be on and off camera. Are you a TikTok fanatic who is funny, creative, agile, and always on the pulse of trends? If you are, grab a cup of coffee and read on because this is about to get interesting. We're looking to add a part-time freelance role of 10 hours a week to our marketing team. This role will ideally have a hybrid schedule which includes some hours every week in our Covington, KY office collaborating with our Social Media Manager.


  • Develop and produce original, attention-grabbing video content that brings value to ROAD iD and DOG iD brands on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
  • Create a library of organic and branded content that drives engagement in our community and reaches new audiences.
  • Produce three to five weekly videos with a content mix that balances trends and original concepts.
  • Actively monitor brand channels to identify timely opportunities to connect, engage, and further conversations with followers.
  • Monitor TikTok and Instagram trends to keep a pulse on influential figures and competitors.
  • Deliver growth on TikTok (note: we do not currently have a TikTok account with any content, so this role will help us get it off the ground, and test content related to both the ROAD iD and DOG iD brand.)
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to:

~ help identify the concepts that viewers are responding to and engaging with

~ create videos around winning concepts

~ brainstorm original concepts and video series

  • Work with various ROAD iD teams to ensure content aligns with brand values and voice while capturing attention and relevancy.
  • Develop the brand’s voice and footprint on TikTok. You will work with the Social Media Manager to first develop a testing plan with concept ideas, hypothesis, goals, and outcomes to inform new testing ideas that evolve our presence and reach new customers.


WHO YOU ARE (the ideal candidate)

  • An improv comedian at heart with a talent for producing engaging social media videos
  • Passionate about creating funny and attention-grabbing content
  • At ease in front of and behind the camera, and excited to be featured personally on brand channels
  • Understand TikTok creator tools, including working knowledge of how to analyze performance data
  • An active user of TikTok who has a pulse on what is trending culturally, and can create witty and innovative content accordingly
  • Comfortable adapting to the brand's tone of voice while remaining thoughtful and mindful of current events and trends
  • Able to manage multiple video projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines
  • Have a strong understanding of the various social spaces and what content will perform best within each platform
  • A strong communicator who takes extra care to make sure you understand and are understood. People describe you as a good listener.
  • Proactive and able to build excitement within teams.
  • Bonus points if you have – or have access to – a dog or cat willing to participate in videos.
