To help us scale and continue to grow, we are looking for a Head of Operations/COO (we call it “Integrator”) to lead the business through our next chapter of growth.


This is a unique opportunity to become a part of ROAD iD’s fun and dynamic leadership team. As Integrator, you’ll execute the business plan and achieve P&L results by leading, managing, and holding the team accountable for agreed upon commitments. You’ll remove obstacles, manage major projects, standardize and systematize work, and integrate all major functions of the business.You’ll work with the CEO (we call it “Visionary”) to filter and translate ideas into the practical plans for the business. As Integrator, you will report to the Visionary and have responsibility for managing all areas of the business including Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Technology. As a company that leverages EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), you will acquire in-depth experience in this discipline and own the vital role of Integrator.


You will Faithfully Execute the business plan in an effort to achieve or exceed planned P&L objectives. You will Champion, Coach, Systematize, Evolve, and Document our core processes (“The ROAD iD Way”) and our operating system (EOS).

As a natural leader of people, you will Lead, Manage, Inspire, Coach, and Hold Accountable a team of ROAD iD rock stars including our Technology Director, Marketing Leaders, Finance Manager, HR Director, and Operations Director. You will work closely with the Visionary to build a dynamic and potent relationship in an effort to effectively Filter and Translate Vision into executable plans for the company.

A powerful team, the Visionary/Integrator duo will work diligently to drive alignment and maintain a high level of mutual respect. You will Integrate all major operating functions of the business and ensure everyone is rowing together, in the same direction.

You will Model The ROAD iD Way, always working toward the greater good of the business. You will work with our highly collaborative teams to Resolve Issues and Pursue Opportunities. To this end, you’ll be comfortable with rigorous debate and capable of solving problems in a practical and healthy manner. To achieve this, you will maintain a leadership team that is healthy, functional, and cohesive.

You will Relentlessly Obsess over values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity. As a passionate and proven communicator, you will effectively Cascade Communication across the organization in an effort to ensure that everyone is “in the know” and on the same page. You will skillfully Allocate Resources and ensure that we are working on the right things, at the right pace, at the right time.

WHO YOU ARE (the ideal candidate)
Others will describe you as capable - a real go-getter (yes, that sounds corny). You are someone that knows how to grab the ball and run with it. You can take minimal direction and set a course of action. You have a passion for learning and an insatiable desire to operationalize and systematize work. In addition, you have (and will be able to demonstrate) the following:

● 10+ years of senior leadership experience preferably in a consumer product business, ideally eCommerce.

● A passion for personal growth and development. More specifically, you want to be a thought leader - one of the best in your field. You’ll be able to demonstrate that you have an obsession for learning from other practitioners. “Never Stop Learning” is a phrase that describes you.

● A naturally inquisitive approach - unafraid to admit that you don’t know something. When you need to learn, you’ll dive in and level up so that you can better understand or ask tough questions. You rarely take something at face value and like to make sure you fully understand an issue or opportunity.

● A scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to be responsive to changing priorities and emerging business needs.

● A passion for winning.

● An eye for the small stuff. It’s the details that make a good company great.

● Strong collaboration skills, a desire to be remarkable, and a fun personality.

Not required, but things that will make you stand out
