How
does the Road ID Event
Sponsorship Program
Work?
The program is quite
simple. We provide
your event with a FREE
Listing in our Event
Calendar, FREE Road
ID Gift Certificates,
and Race Bibs (if needed).
In exchange for this
sponsorship, we ask
that you help us spread
the word about the need
for athletes to wear
ID when they race and
train. How?
All we ask is that you
include a Road ID flyer
(see below) in each
of your participants
goodie bags. It's
really that simple.
Do you
want a list of our event's
participants?
NO. We do NOT
want a list of your
event's participants
names and addresses.
In fact, if you send
a list, it will face
a most unfortunate demise
- the shredder.
How
do I get started?
If you have an account
set up already, simply
Log In. If
you don't already have
an account set up, you
need to start by
creating an account.
Creating an account
is easy and only needs
to be done one time.
How many Road ID
Gift Certificates will
you provide my event?
The number of gift certificates
that an event is given
is determined by the
size (number of participants)
of the event.
To find out how many
certificates your race
will receive, you can
do one of the following:
A. Call 800.345.6336
(M-F, 9-6 EST).
B. Email
(don't forget to include
the estimated size
of your event in the
email)
C. Log
In and click the "Sponsor
this Event" link.
This will take you to
a
page that shows you
how many Gift Certificates
you will receive.
NOTE: If you do not
see the "Sponsor
this Event" link,
you must
first "Add an Event."
What
type of Gift Certificates
do you provide?

This is what your Gift
Certificates will look
like. They can
be given to division
winners, used as door
prizes, or given to
special volunteers;
guests; etc.
Each Gift Certificate
has a value of $15 and
is fully transferable.
They can
be redeemed via mail,
fax, online at RoadID.com,
or by calling 800.345.6336
What
type of Race Bibs do
you provide?
The race bibs that we
provide are 7 1/2 X
7 1/2 tyvek, deluxe
race numbers with tear
tags. We are happy
to provide you with
as many bibs as you
need.

Do you supply safety
pins for the bibs?
Unfortunately, we are
not able to supply safety
pins for the bibs that
we provide. You
might try to get safety
pins donated by a local
dry cleaner, or we can
tell you where you can
buy them. If you
would like to know where
to buy safety pins at
a discount, just email

What
type of flyer do you
want me to put in the
goodie bags?
The flyer is an 8 1/2"
X 11" flyer that
showcases 3 stories
from real athletes and
how their lives were
impacted by identification.
The flyer also shows
the 4 types of Road
ID.

One, we want to educate
runners, cyclists, triathletes,
and walkers about the
importance of wearing
ID. Two, we want to
provide these athletes
