I never planned on using my Road ID

When I purchased my Road ID, my plan was to wear it, of course...but I never imagined I'd actually use it. I was wrong. Recently, I experienced an unusual medical problem in my throat and had to be rushed to the ER. I was unable to speak and could not swallow food or water. I was scared out of my mind.

To my relief, a doctor noticed my Interactive Road ID on my wrist. Knowing that I could not talk, he took it from me and got the information he needed from my emergency profile. The others in the room assisting the doctor wanted to know all about it, and the doctor told them it was a Road ID and explained how it worked.

Update: I was scheduled for surgery, and am happy to report the blockage in my throat was removed. I can't thank Road ID and the medical staff enough.
